FAQ

  • When Should I Come Back/ How Long Will My Botox Last?
If it is your first treatment it is likely to last 2-3 months. With consistant treatment and as your facial muscles weaken you can typically go longer between treatments ie. 3-4 months.
  • Can I Receive Botox For My Jaw Pain?
Yes. We inject botox into the masseter muscle which is the large muscle on both sides of your jaw. The muscle is usually responsible for a lot of pain. It can help pain caused from jaw clenching/ teeth grinding or tension headaches. By adding botox to this muscle it causes it to weaken and in turn you are unable to clench as hard, giving relief! This treatment is usually covered by insurance and can last up to six months. The frequency of your treatments will prolong the results.
  • What Is The Difference Between A Lip Flip And A Gummy Smile Treatment?
The gummy smile treatment targets the muscle responsible for pulling the lip up. They are located by the nose. Adding botox into this muscle relaxes it and causes the lip to drop a little and allows less gum to show. The lip flip prevents the top lip from curling under and "disappearing" when you smile. It will give the illusion of a slightly bigger top lip.
  • How Long Is a Treatment?
Treatment time can vary depending on what is being treated. Actually injecting the botox only takes a few short minutes.
  • Are Botox Results Immediate?
NO. Botox takes minimum 14 days to see full results. Any follow up appointments must be made after the full 14 days.

  • How Do I Choose Between a Full Syringe VS a Half Syringe?
It's important to note that your injector is the best person to make this decision for you as they can tell you exactly what your perfect dose is for facial balancing. It's also important to note that half a syringe is the size of half a blueberry vs a full syringe is the size of a blueberry. When half a syringe is injected it's typically to build up the lips or strictly for hydration. If you want a noticeable but natural amount of volume a full syringe would be a good option. Again the injector will only give you what she knows you need and this varies from person to person.

  • Why Is Morpheus8 Different Than Normal Microneedling
Morpheus8 is microneedling with radio frequency with adjustable depth (up to 4 mm) fine surgical pins. At the end of these fine pins, radio frequency waves are emitted. What this means is that you get a double whammy when it comes to skin rejuvenation and tightening. The microneedles cause a controlled injury that results in formation of new collagen and elastin (the fibers responsible for skin tightening). In addition, the radio frequency wave also stimulate collagen and elastin formation. SO, you have skin rejuvenation occurring from 2 different formats!!

  • Why Is Medical Grade Skincare Better Than Drugstore Skincare?
Medical-grade or (professional grade) skincare contains potent, clinically proven ingredients—like retinoids, peptides, antioxidants, and hydroxy acids—in higher concentrations than over-the-counter products. That means better results, faster. Think: prescription-strength power, but tailored for daily use. These products also are usually backed by scientific research and clinical studies, often developed by dermatologists or scientists. You’re not just buying a brand—you’re getting evidence-based skincare. Whether you're dealing with acne, hyperpigmentation, aging, rosacea, or melasma, medical-grade routines are designed to treat underlying issues, not just cover them up.
  • When Is Medical Grade Skincare More Expensive Than Drugstore Skincare?
Medical-grade products often contain stronger, more potent concentrations of active ingredients like retinoids, vitamin C, or hydroxy acids. Drugstore products usually stay within a lower, FDA-approved range that’s considered safe for mass use, while medical-grade products can push the potency (sometimes even requiring supervision from a professional). These products tend to go through more rigorous clinical testing to prove that they actually work. Medical-grade skincare often uses more advanced delivery systems to get ingredients deeper into the skin. Companies often use pharmaceutical-grade or purer ingredients, which are held to a higher manufacturing standard than cosmetic-grade ingredients (used in most drugstore products).
